Prior to forming Kerr Wealth Management, Andrew worked for institutional firms and national broker dealers. (Cambridge Investment Research and Lincoln Securities Corporation). With his experience came a growing disdain for commission driven stock brokerage companies. In 2015 Kerr Financial Planning Corporation was born. Andrew started Kerr Wealth with a firm belief that giving financial advice should be objective and fee based. Today - the Kerr Companies employs 14 full-time professionals ranging from fee-only financial advisors, business advisors, accountants, tax advisors, commercial insurance advisors, retirement plan administrators and a pension actuary.
Husband, Father and Outdoor Enthusiast
Husband, father outdoorsman and musician round out Andrew's personal life. Andrew and his wife, Rebecca just celebrated their 10th year of marriage. They met in Fresno California. Today they share the joys of their two children, chickens, cows, horses, sheep and goats. Prior to a career in finance Andrew competed as a collegiate road cyclist and continued beyond college as an under 23 elite amateur pro development rider in Milwaukee, WI. Andrew no longer competes but participates in weekend charity rides and club events when he can. Andrew also plays the guitar. He started playing at 14 and 24 years later has a collection of 22 guitars. Andrew's commitment to a balanced life and a successful business practice allows him to enjoy time with his family and make meaningful connections with clients.
